Issue 5 Winter 2005

Issue 5 opened with a Viking revenge tale from John C. Hocking, followed by the returns of D.K. Latta's Zargatha and Bruce Durham's Dalacroy, and Robert Burke Richardson gave us the second part of his three part series with Jack the Nimble. We also saw new adventures from Nathan Meyer, some tropical seafaring from John Whalen, a fabulous tale of Norse adventure from Nancy Virginia Varian, Mongolian-style swashbuckling from Jay Stevol, and some sword-and-planet from Lawrence Barker.

Issue 4 Fall 2005

Issue 4 featured more sword and sorcery mayhem from talented newcomers to Flashing Swords Steve Goble and Nathan Meyer, industry veterans Andrew Offutt and Richard K. Lyon, and active sword and sorcery writer Steven Shrewsbury. Edward Muller introduced readers to a fascinating new world, and John C. Hocking delivered another fine tale from the pen of his archivist. Issue 4 also debuted the first in a three part connected series from Robert Burke Richardson.

Issue 3 Summer 2005

Issue 3 opened with another zinger from John C. Hocking, followed by a pulse-pounding adventure tale from C.L. Werner. This issue was absolutely jam-packed with sword and sorcery, including another Stevan the Targeteer story from Joe McCullough, a new Dermanassian story from S.C. Bryce, a sequel to Dalacroy's first adventure from the pen of Bruce Durham, and fiction from C.J. Burch, Jay Caselberg, and Christopher Stires.

Issue 2 Spring 2005

Issue 2 gave us not only another Zargatha tale by D.K. Latta, but launched two new series, one by sword and sorcery veteran John C. Hocking, the other by newcomer Bruce Durham. We were pleased to present work from the accomplished team of Richard Lyon and Andrew Offutt, as well as a page turner from Peter Welmerink and another tale of Crusader mayhem from Harold Lamb.

Issue 1 Winter 2004

Our fabulous first issue features work from Warhammer novelist William King, a Stevan the Targeteer story by Joe McCullough, a new hero from the pen of
D.K. Latta--creator of Neekin and Kainar--Viking mayhem from the pen of pulpster Harold Lamb, and a thrilling new tale of The Gray Mist by S.C. Bryce!
